Thai Massage
THAI MASSAGE consists of a series of interactive, flowing movements, stretches and rhythmic massage, along all the body's energy lines and pressure points. It combines passive stretching, improves flexibility, improves mental clarity, and focus. Thai massage promotes circulation in both the cardiovascular and lymphatic systems. Thai massage is performed on a mat on the floor where the client is fully clothed. Please dress comfortably for this appointment. BAMBOO and RATTAN tools of varying shapes and sizes are used during massage, as an extension the therapist's hands. The bamboo is held by the therapist and rolled over the tissue with the same way they would with their hands. This technique is very similar to a stone massage. Bamboo massage utilizes a firmer and more extensive technique in reaching knots formed by lactic acid and other tension causing wastes. This technique results in faster healing, pain reduction and increased mobility. This treatment is done on the massage table and incorporated into the therapeutic/relaxation massage.
