THAI MASSAGE consists of a series of interactive, flowing movements, stretches and rhythmic massage, along all the body's energy lines and pressure points. It combines passive stretching, improves flexibility, improves mental clarity, and focus. Thai massage promotes circulation in both the cardiovascular and lymphatic systems. Thai massage is performed on a mat on the floor where the client is fully clothed. Please dress comfortably for this appointment.

BAMBOO and RATTAN tools of varying shapes and sizes are used during massage, as an extension the therapist's hands. The bamboo is held by the therapist and rolled over the tissue with the same way they would with their hands. This technique is very similar to a stone massage. Bamboo massage utilizes a firmer and more extensive technique in reaching knots formed by lactic acid and other tension causing wastes. This technique results in faster healing, pain reduction and increased mobility. This treatment is done on the massage table and incorporated into the therapeutic/relaxation massage.

I am a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and I have completed my 2200 hours of massage training in Grande Prairie at Alberta College of Massage Therapy (ACMT). Hey I’m Chantal. I’m from the Okanagan originally but, I have spent the last twenty-ish years on and off in the Grande Prairie area. I’ve always had a fascination with massage as I grew up massaging my grandmother’s shoulders after her long days of hair dressing. Jessie is a registered member in good standing with the Massage Associationof Alberta. She graduated from Georgian College in Ontario in 2011. She relocated to Grande Prairie in 2023.

Jessie has always had a passion for helping others which has led her to her career as an RMT. Kevin Chizik RMT

Kevin Chizik obtained his Massage Therapy certificate in 1997 from Mount Royal College in Calgary, and from the ACMT 2200hr RMT program in Grande Prairie in 2021, where he earned honours with distinction.

After a hiatus from the profession, Kevin has returned to massage therapy with a passion and dedication to help his clients and mentor student therapists. He helps teach and supervise the student clinic at the Alberta College of Massage Therapy.

In November 2023, Kevin fulfilled a long-time dream of opening a multi-therapist massage clinic - Phoenix Rising Massage Therapy. As owner, Kevin takes great pride in his team of therapists who have joined the clinic since opening.
